SENSORY DESCRIPTION

A plane flys over head. It must coast into the airport soon. Another group of people safely arriving to their destination. Somewhere from across the Savanna on schools campus I can hear a fan whirling and struggling to cool a building modernity whispering, "I make you happy you will never get rid of me." Cars pass by in the parking lot cruising to a parking spot to try and continue their day. Still I can hear the breeze move through the trees and weeds whooshing across the savanna and reminding me to slow down and breathe. I can hear people move around me and I wonder how scary it would be to sit in the open like this without being able to see forever. What it would be like to hear the movement of a person and not be able to know who they are or where exactly they are. Glad to have the use of my eyes when I need them I turn back to my ears and listen to the trees sway in the wind again.
